Junior School - Wastebusters Visit

This morning we visited Wastebusters and learnt about recycling.

Have you ever noticed the numbers on the bottom of your plastic containers?  They are inside a triangle.  These numbers indicate the different types of plastic.  Number 1: soft drink bottles, honey jars etc can be recycled into pillow and sleeping bag filling. Number 2: Milk bottles can be made into recycling bins.
Number 5: Yoghurt containers and icecream containers can be made into pegs and toothbrush handles.

Did you know that it takes 57 milk bottles to make one of our green recycling bins?

Junior School Trip to Wastebusters

During EOTC week the Junior School visited Wastebusters to see what happens to our recycling.
