Christmas Holiday Gardening
The garden still needed some love and attention over the Christmas holidays. Mrs Kitto had two fantastic helpers who spent several hours in the garden, thinning the carrots, watering and weeding.

Save the Kiwi Week
On Friday 18th October we had a coin trail to raise money for the 'Save the Kiwi' appeal. We had planned on drawing a big kiwi on the netball court and getting each class to add their coins to it, but unfortunately it was pouring with rain. We came up with another plan......each class had a picture of a kiwi to cover with coins. We raised $131.10. A great effort guys! This is Room 6's kiwi made of coins.

Busy in the garden
This week we planted our strawberries into our newly decorated pots and our lettuces into the containers that have been mounted on our fence railings. It was a very busy garden!

Garden Art Completed
On Monday a group of very talented students helped to complete the painting of our fence post art. It really helps to brighten our new garden area. Well done everyone who has helped with this project.....you are all stars.
